Psychiatry & Medication Management

Psychiatric care at 3 Peaks Medical centers on thorough diagnostic evaluation followed by medication management that is revisited, not just renewed. Your psychiatrist attends to the full clinical picture — sleep, cognition, physical health intersections, and the way your symptoms have shifted across time — rather than calibrating a prescription against a single presenting complaint.

Specialty Care

Beyond general psychiatry and therapy, 3 Peaks Medical offers focused programs for adults whose care requires a more concentrated lens. These programs are designed for conditions or life circumstances where scattered generalist care has historically underserved people, and they bring integrated psychiatric and therapeutic attention to bear on a narrower, more specifically defined need.

Psychotherapy

Individual therapy here is shaped by the clinician's training and by what the assessment reveals about how you actually process difficulty. Sessions may draw on cognitive-behavioral techniques, psychodynamic exploration, or integrative frameworks depending on what the work calls for — the modality serves the person, not the other way around.

Couples & Family Care

Relational care at 3 Peaks Medical treats the relationship itself as the clinical subject. Whether the work involves a couple navigating a prolonged strain or adult family members untangling long-held patterns, sessions are structured to surface what usually goes unspoken and to build a more functional shared language.

Telehealth

Secure video appointments are available across Arizona for most of our services, using a HIPAA-compliant platform that requires only a stable connection and a private space. Telehealth at 3 Peaks Medical is not a reduced version of in-person care — the clinical expectations, session length, and level of attention remain the same.

About the practice

3 Peaks Medical

Some questions about the mind resist easy answers. At 3 Peaks Medical, we hold space for that complexity rather than smooth it over. Care here moves at the pace of actual understanding, not the pace of a checklist.

Our clinical team is composed of board-certified psychiatrists and independently licensed therapists (psychologists, clinical social workers, marriage and family therapists, mental health counselors). We deliver care to adults 18 and over, both in person and through secure telehealth, and we work with most major commercial insurance plans.

Common questions

Frequently asked

How far out is the typical wait for a new patient appointment?
Availability shifts with the current caseload, and we are not able to offer a single answer that holds across all clinicians or service types. The most accurate way to know is to contact us directly — our intake team can tell you what is open and match you with a clinician whose availability and clinical focus fit your situation.
Are telehealth appointments available for all services, or only certain ones?
Secure video appointments are available in Arizona for most individual psychiatric and psychotherapy services. Some specialty programs and relational services may have clinical reasons for preferring in-person sessions, at least initially. We will be clear about that during intake so you can plan accordingly.
What training and credentials do the clinicians at 3 Peaks Medical hold?
Psychiatrists at 3 Peaks Medical hold medical degrees and board certification in psychiatry. Psychotherapists are licensed at the independent practice level in Arizona — licenses that require supervised clinical hours, examinations, and ongoing continuing education to maintain. You are welcome to ask any clinician directly about their specific training background.
